Great restaurant, and I never go on and do reviews unless they are amazing or horrible as well. I saw a similar review that I agree with. I have spent so much money and you also don’t package the sauces for me. I reached out to an employee, I believe his name was Daweed, and he came back at me with a snarky remark. He then started to mumble under his breath in polish with an angry look in his eye. I was nothing but kind to that boy. Unacceptable. Get that kid in line.

My sister’s description of the #FrenchFries at Cricket Car Hop made our mouths water so we had to try them. They are so delicious and taste the closest thing to #Fries at the old Buddy’s on Fairfield Beach Road! We both ordered the “Long Dogs” with “The Works” and although they were filling and delicious - the red relish was a bit too spicy for me. Next time, I will go with green relish! Perfect #LaborDay meal.

Always brings back the memories of my childhood despite a whole new place from back in the day, when my dad took us to the cricket while my mom was at work we’d get hotdogs and play pinball then go watch the planes across the way. Miss those times... but will never forget the role the cricket played in those memories.

I called ahead and picked up my order at the drive thru. I had a double cheeseburger and French Fries. Everything was ready on time, was hot, and tasted just great. Definitely will be going here again in the future... I love the nostalgic look and feel of it quite a bit.

Amazing comfort food! Really nice staff, owner was a sweetheart! Place is super cool and the perfect pit stop. Burger was top notch, definitely be back.

We hired the food truck for a birthday/graduation/summer party and we couldn’t be happier. Nikki’s communication was excellent, from the beginning. Her staff was so wonderful and kind. The food.....what can I even say about that, no one left hungry and the amount of our guests who raved about how delicious everything was, was almost overwhelming haha! Would absolutely love to work with them again in the future. If you’re looking for delicious food and to have 0 stress about making enough for a party, I’d suggest hiring them!

Long dog was cooked perfectly. Toasted bun, chili,mustard,relish. Wished the chili was a little spicy but was still very good. Fries nice and crispy. Service was great.

This place is just awesome. You can order online, in person, or in the drive thru and they will bring you the food to your car! Pretty awesome and nostalgic. Cricket Car Hop is a one-stop destination for classic American comfort foods. The stars of the show are of course the hot dogs, but don't sleep on their sandwiches, salads, and desserts. The cheesesteak is ridiculously good, and so are the burgers. If getting a dog, definitely get one with their chili on top, which tastes a little more like a bolognese or a Cincinnati-style chili. No matter what you are craving this Stratford institution will for sure leaving you and your family full, satisfied, and smiling thanks to their fresh food and friendly customer service.
